Description

We are planning to host our 5th annual Harrison Willing Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Wedgewood Golf Course in Coopersburg, PA. This event helps raise money to provide financial assistance to the Childhood Cancer community in addition to the Harrison Willing Memorial Research Fund at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

TEAM HARRISON is a 501 (C)(3) organization (Tax ID #84-4659941) formed in support of Harrison Willing, who was diagnosed with T Lymphoblastic Lymphoma at age 12.  T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) is a rare form of aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He received intensive chemotherapy regimens, including medication through his spine to prevent spread to the central nervous system.  After his first relapse, Harrison received a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  The transplant was a success and Harrison accepted his donor's cells 100%, but shortly after returning home from transplant, he relapsed a second time.  The doctors made a specialized treatment plan using immunotherapy drugs and radiation to give Harrison more time. Harrison's immune system was too weak to accept the treatment, and he passed away on March 20, 2018, at the young age of fourteen.

Each year, this event contributes over $10,000 to the Childhood Cancer community as well as T-Lymphoblastic Lymphoma research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Harrison’s name.

We are expecting approximately one hundred to one hundred twenty-five participants at this year’s event.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local companies who provide valuable products and services. We are hopeful that you would you be willing to donate a raffle prize to help make this year’s event possible. With your donation, we’d be able to increase our fundraising efforts. In the past we have received Gift cards, or gift baskets, but we will accept anything you are able to provide. As a token of appreciation, your company will receive recognition at our closing ceremonies where the raffle prizes will be distributed.
