We are excited to announce the Wyckoff Family YMCA's 5th Annual Ladies Tennis & Paddle Classic and Luncheon on Tuesday September 13th, at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.  All of the proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Y's special needs programming through our community outreach intiative, Wyckoff Y Cares.  This is a fund established in memory of Michael O'Shea and Pietro Maugeri, two individuals who exemplified selfless commitment to those in need, and were dedicated to strengthening their communities. 

The mission of Wyckoff Y Cares is to provide assistance in meeting the needs of those who are at risk within our community; to include the care of special needs populations, the concern for families facing critical illness or financial hardship, and the unwavering support system for teens and older adults.  Last year the dollars from the 4th Annual event enabled us to subsidize over 100 childeren and young adults with special needs in our Shooting Stars 21+ program, Personal Partners, the Y's special needs one-on-one fitness program, Billys Buddies, for children with Down Syndrome and their families, Shining Star Express, socially supportive programs for a variety of special needs, Rising Stars Camp and After Care program for children with Autism and Little Stars Group Therapy program.

The mission of the Wyckoff Y is to reach out to families of Northern New Jersey and provide services and activities which help people regardless of age, sex, race or religion to develop in spirit, mind and body.  The YMCA is a non-profit, social service charitable organization.  Our tax id is 22-201-1431.
