Walk Away Homelessness in New York May 14th!

The mission of Princess Janae Place is to help people of trans experience maximize their full potential as they transition from homelessness to independent living. Princess Janae Place fulfills our mission by offering a safe space for people of trans experience to connect with community, access gender affirming support, as well as engage in educational and recreational activities. Princess Janae Place serves as a critical referral source for our members to secure housing navigation, substance use, mental health resources, legal assistance, job training/placement and health care.

We are a grass roots trans lead community-based organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our clients, volunteers, & staff.

We are proud to announce, The 5th Annual Help The Homeless NY Walk. May 14th Morningside Park 110th street entrance & Manhattan Ave. Starting time 10am. Please arrive by 9:30am to register to walk.

You can help this cause by Forming a Team and Registering to Walk Away Homelessness in New York. Your compassionate heart hates to see people suffering. So recruit your friends, family, coworkers, support group, ballroom house, scout troop, church choir, Sunday school class, organization or your school team! If you Register 7 team members, & raise $50 each, you've provided $350 for a week's worth of safe adequate housing in New York and support for 1 person. Show up with 30 people on your team, raise $50 each, that's $1,500 and you've given someone a home, counseling, and care for an entire month!
