The Rock School for Dance is universally recognized as one of the world’s finest pre- professional classical ballet training institutions. The organization’s original location on the Avenue of the Arts has served the Greater Philadelphia community for 60 years while its second location has provided arts education in the West Chester community for 25 years.

Ranked #1 ballet academy in the United States in a study published in Scientific Reports, The Rock School is decidedly developing leading dancers employed in over 80 of the world’s top dance companies. The cultural institution has also been declared Outstanding School by Youth America Grand Prix an unprecedented 17 times. On Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Fairmount Water Works, The Rock School will host its annual benefit Gala in support of our efforts to educate promising young artists and Philadelphia’s underserved children.
