Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is a federal tax exempt not-for-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Our mission is to provide a community facility for children to learn through play and socialization and a place for parents/caregivers to connect.

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is hosting its sixth Annual Daddy Daughter Ball Fundraiser on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center. This year’s event will be held outside to mitigate the exposure of COVID-19 during these uncertain times. The proceeds from this fundraiser directly support the operating costs of Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum located at 9882 Main Street, Damascus, MD. Our fundraising goal for this event is $10,000. This Annual fundraising event allows Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum to be accessible to all families within the community by offering affordable admission fees. 

For the past four years, Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum has sold out tickets to the Daddy Daughter Ball. We have amassed a large following for this evening since the first Daddy Daughter Ball in 2016. In 2020, we had over 550 participants and tickets sold out weeks in advance. This year’s theme is “Under the Stars” to inspire the sense of awe and enhance the creative thinking mindset of young girls in our community. Awe is a powerful emotion which can instill a deeper sense of worldliness, kindness, and peace. 

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is seeking event sponsors for this memorable Daddy Daughter Ball. We are offering several sponsorship levels and we hope you are able to identify with a level that is right for your business.
