Description

Dear Community Supporter,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out on behalf of The Child Advocacy Center of Northern New York, a program of the Victim’s Assistance Center.

We are excited to inform you about our upcoming Annual Masquerade Ball scheduled for April 6, 2024. This event serves as a platform to honor local heroes who tirelessly work to fight child abuse in our community. In the year 2023 alone, we provided crucial services to 1,140 children across Jefferson, St. Lawrence, and Lewis Counties.

At our agency, we operate with a multidisciplinary team approach, collaborating with local law enforcement, child protective services, prosecutors, and medical providers. The comprehensive services we offer include medical examinations, forensic interviews, case management, advocacy, and therapy. All these services are provided to child victims and their non-offending caregivers free of charge, ensuring they receive the necessary support to heal from their trauma.

To make our Annual Masquerade Ball a success, we are seeking support from businesses like yours. We kindly request any silent auction items, such as baskets, gift cards, services, merchandise, or other contributions that you can donate to help us unmask child abuse in our community. In return for your generosity, your business will be prominently recognized on auction displays at the event. Additionally, all donations are tax-deductible.

We are aiming to collect all silent auction donation items by Friday, March 22, 2024. Your participation will play a vital role in supporting our mission and making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. Your consideration and support are immensely appreciated.

On behalf of our staff, board members, multidisciplinary team, the community, and the survivors we serve, thank you for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Kristin Proven
