We support research dedicated to finding a treatment, and an eventual cure of Pitt Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS) and other similar disorders. This research is funded by generous donations from the community. As such, we are currently seeking donations for our  2019 Texas Trekkers Walk/5K that is set to take place on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Katherine Rose Memorial Park in Mansfield, Texas. We are extremely excited to have for the second year an added 5K to our fun run/walk.  This annual event attracts over 150 families and over 300 community members and advocates of research benefiting the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation.  Our board and officers are parents and professionals who volunteer their time, so that over 93% of funds raised and donated go to finding a cure. Our goal is to find a treatment as quickly as possible that will help give our children higher functioning, fuller lives. Please join us, your donations give us so much more than money - it gives us hope. 

We are at a point now that the talk of actual clinical trials is in the works THIS YEAR. We cannot do this without the incredible support of people like you. This cause is obviously near and dear to my heart as Pitt Hopkins is what my incredible son lives with every single day. I will not stay quiet or still. This is now my life mission and it is to help ensure my son and ALL of his Pitt Hopkins brothers and sisters have the BEST life possible.
