This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. This year’s anniversary gala supports our charitable arm, the Pediatric Foundation of Georgia which promotes the health, safety, and well-being of the children of Georgia from birth through age 21. The Foundation does this by making grants to organizations whose work supports these goals and enhances the physical and mental health of Georgia’s children.

A celebration Gala is planned for Saturday evening October 26 at 6:30pm, at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel, next door to the Cobb Galleria Centre, site of the Georgia AAP Fall Conference. The Gala will include a reception, dinner, entertainment, a silent auction and Wine Wall to benefit the Foundation. We’re writing to you today to invite you to mark your calendars now for this special event and secondly, to help us generate items for the Silent Auction.

Donations for the auction are needed to make the event a success. We hope your organization will consider donating auction items.
