Georgia AAP: Chapter 70th Anniversary Gala Originally Scheduled for October 26, 2024 has been Postponed Until March 8, 2025 
 

As you're aware, Hurricane Helene has caused significant devastation across our state. Areas including Valdosta, Sandersville, Vidalia, and Augusta experienced severe impacts. Our members in these communities will need several weeks to recover. Given these circumstances, the Chapter Executive Committee has made the decision to delay our upcoming 70th Anniversary Gala until early next year, March 8, 2025. While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, we believe it is crucial that our efforts concentrate on supporting our members through their recovery.

The rescheduled Gala will occur on a Saturday evening, March 8, 2025 at the same venue—the Renaissance Waverly Hotel, Atlanta—as previously intended. This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the Georgia Chapter and we're planning a Gala to celebrate this special occasion while benefitting the Pediatric Foundation of Georgia. The Foundation promotes the health, safety and well-being of Georgia's children by making grants to organizations whose work supports these goals and enhances the physical and mental health of children. Our celebration will include a program filled with a silent auction, wine wall, video tribute from grantees, and more!
