Description
The annual Turkey Raffle, hosted by the Atkinson Firefighters, is an in person raffle located at the Atkinson Fire Department, 1 Academy Ave. This event draws a crowd of over 400 residents, friends, family and neighbors. This event is an all ages event with raffles prizes and cash donations mostly by local businesses as well as popular area attractions. There are 20 raffles, each of which is accompanied by a frozen turkey, as well as 1 grand prize basket, also including a turkey.
This event is the biggest funraiser for the Atkinson Firefighters Association. All collected raffle money and donations goes towards funding additional life safety equipment and supporting the members.
