The Jose Montaño Foundation was created to continue with Jose's wish and give from the heart. As a foundation, we deliver toys, games, blankets, and a message of Hope to families at fourteen different children's hospitals in San Diego, Orange County, Riverside, Long Beach, and Los Angeles. We also deliver healthy snack bags to parents of hospitalized patients who might not have time or money to buy a meal due to needing to stay at their child's bedside. We have created partnerships with every school in the South Bay Union School District and Southwest Middle School to award scholarships and recognize students for having year-long perfect attendance.

 

The purpose of the Jose Montano Foundation 7th Annual 5k Walk, Run, and Roll is to raise pediatric cancer awareness and funds to continue with Choncho's mission to give from the heart.
