Every fall Garton Family Charity holds its Annual Christine Garton Memorial Softball Tournament. The event is inspired by the Savannah Bananas, so it is very family-friendly and open to players of any-skill level.

Each team participating plays to raise money for a different cause; past teams have played for Akron Children’s Hospital, American Cancer Society, The Giving Doll, The Mid-Atlantic Connection for PKU and Allied Disorders, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Wadsworth FISH, Donate Life Ohio, Wounded Warrior Project, and GFC’s Holiday Cheer program.

To date, over $34,000 has been donated to various organizations and local families in need at the holidays!
