Description

The Dirty Birdie Benefit Ride is a motorcycle ride to raise funds for the Bright Eyes Veteran Housing Initiative (501(c)3). The ride consists of five stops at which participants will play a hole of putt putt golf at each stop, as Augusta is the home of the Masters Tournament. The winner will have the privilege of wearing the green winner's jacket with their road name and year sewn onto the jacket. The rider with the worst score wins a broken club award.

The Bright Eyes Veteran Housing Initiative renovates and manages affordable housing to service low income Veterans in Augusta, Georgia area to pursue their interests, create safe and affordable housing; breathe new life into communities through neighborhood revitalization/stabilization projects. We do not just donate the event proceeds. We take the proceeds and buy the necessary renovations supplies, appliances and other home necessities, and then volunteer our time and resources to provide extra hands for any project labor needs.
