The members of the River Giver Run are asking for your support of our 7 th Annual River Run fundraising event. This event is the largest fundraiser for our organization and benefits the Ed Reilly Scholarship Fund and Veterans Path to Hope Outdoors. The River Giver Run will be held on August 5, 2024 along the lower Fox River and will feature a small silent auction with the majority of gift items available for raffle. Proceeds will be used by RGR to benefit Veterans Path to Hope Outdoors program and provide scholarships to Wauconda Fire Department cadets to pursue formal training for the department. Past fundraising events have raised over $85,000 to support both causes and sent over 10 cadets to the academy downstate. We are seeking donations in support of this event. The River Giver Run is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Your generous contribution is deductible to the extent of the law. Suggested items include gift certificates, goods or services, and/or monetary contributions. We would be happy to make arrangements to pick up local donations. As a benefit for your donation, you will receive prominent exposure to over 200 participants who will be able to bid on or enter a raffle to win the products and services of your business. There will also be Social Media exposure to our followers on many of the items that are donated.
