We are holding our 7th Annual Springabaloo, an adult-only cocktail party and auction organized by the Hathaway Parents Association to raise money for Howard Hathaway Elementary School. The cost of tickets covers our expenses for the event so all funds raised through our auction go directly to the school. This year, we are specifically raising funds for field trips and an Outdoor Learning Center, which will include an outdoor classroom, learning centers, gardens, and wildlife habitats to be maintained and studied by all of the students at the school. This event is well-attended by over 200 parents, teachers, and members of the community. In addition to being featured in our auction and event program, auction items will be advertised to the whole community in advance of the event to create excitement, bring in pre-bids from those unable to attend, and generate tickets sales.
