Good day,

I’m writing to you today on behalf of Dreams Take Flight®, Toronto Chapter. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances last year we had to cancel our exciting day. Happily, we are planning to finally go in May of 2023 on our 31st Flight - an exciting journey with another plane full of excited, special children! Because the children had to miss their day, we again sent each child a lovely package at Christmas with money raised from last year.

These children, specially selected from various hospitals and agencies across Ontario arrive at their fun filled day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom on an airplane, donated for the day by Air Canada.

Each year we face the challenge of raising money and acquiring corporate sponsorship to fund what most of these children would otherwise see only as a dream. Your donations and money raised go towards fuel for the plane, uniforms and meals for the children during the day, park tickets, even a special surprise stop at the gift shop on our way out after the exciting fireworks show, and so much more. Over 90% of all money donated goes towards the children and their magical day!

Thanks to amazing and generous support, the 6th Annual Swing For Dreams Tournament was a wonderful success, raising an incredible $11 000! Due to this achievement, I’m excited to be organizing the 7th Annual Swing for Dreams Tournament taking place on Saturday June 10th, 2023 at Carlisle Golf Club, located just outside of Hamilton, Ontario.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your help in making this event another great success by providing a   donation for use in our raffle or silent auction. Hole sponsorships are also available where you can proudly display your logo and information for all golfers to see. You are even welcome to play a game of choice at your sponsored hole!

In recognition of your contributions, your name and/or logo will proudly appear on our Facebook event page and group, event flyer which goes to all golfers and with all thank you cards, as well as various community advertisements and signs.
