The women of the Dallas Cotillion Club serve in a volunteer capacity alongside Genesis Women's Shelter & Support to aid the $7.3 million it takes to keep the shelter running in order to provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, and counseling services. Each year DCC hosts fundraising and awareness events in tandem with our annual black-tie gala - held this year on April 26th 2025 at The Drey Hotel.

As we mark our 81st anniversary, the members of The Dallas Cotillion Club are taking a moment to reflect on our commitment to our community, which has been defined by our dedication to raising awareness and providing support to local charities and non-profit organizations. As our club embarks on preparations for this important event, our aspirations for our fundraising endeavor have never been loftier. This year’s beneficiary, Genesis Women’s Shelter, has the mission to end the epidemic of domestic violence against women and children by stopping individual victimization and reducing the devastating impact of family violence through safety, shelter, and expert services to battered women and their children.

In the last seven years, we’ve been able to support Genesis by serving on-site as shelter volunteers, procured $5,000+ worth of welcome home products, toiletries, and holiday gifts for shelter families, and raised over $120,000 in monetary donations.
