Description

We are hosting our largest fundraiser of the year and are looking for donations for raffle baskets and silent auctions. St. Joes Pony Baseball offers instructional and competitive baseball for boys and girls ages 4 to 14. We promote the development of a strong character, sense of responsibility, and good sportsmanship in our players. We are affiliated with Pony Baseball and believe in Protecting Our Nation's Youth.

Founded in 1940, Monsignor Matthias Butala built St. Joseph’s Park bringing recreational and sports facilities to the surrounding community and the parishioners to share his love of baseball with the city’s youth.  Today, St. Joe’s Park Pony Baseball has grown from only a handful of young boys in 1940 to more than 400 boys and girls today.  Children from communities such as Joliet, Crest Hill, Plainfield, Shorewood, Minooka, Channahon, Elwood, New Lenox and Romeoville all play at St. Joe’s because of the high level of competition and tradition in which the league is known for.

St. Joseph’s Park Pony Baseball is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization and your donation is tax deductible.  Our federal tax identification number is 36-3280741.  We rely on fundraising and community support to help provide equipment and uniforms for the league.  We also host several community events such as movie nights on the field and Trunk or Treat during the off season to give back to the communtiy that helps support us.
