Every year, the Leadership Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago organizes "Big Bash" to celebrate mentors (“Bigs”) and the organization. The event will be held this year on November 9th, 2019, and draws up to 450 young professionals between 24-40 years old, most of whom are heavily involved in the community. 

All in-kind donations would be used in the event’s silent auction. Every single dollar raised at this event goes to support the cost of training and matching mentors for 2,000 Chicago children. This mentoring significantly improves the future for the mentees, decreasing violence and gang activities while also increasing graduation rates from high school. Even the smallest donation is enough to help take one child off the organization's current wait-list of 300 children.
