We are very pleased to share, Cornerstone to Recovery is hosting our 8th Annual Cornerstone Yoga-Thon on Saturday, February 24, 2024, benefitting life-saving programs and services to those who need it, while helping build a safe and healthier community for everyone! 

Mental health and addiction concerns remain prevalent in our communities, with overdose rates nearly doubling in the past few years. The devastating impact of addiction on our families and within our communities has not stopped. Because of this, neither has Cornerstone. Your continued support is an integral part of our work at Cornerstone – we couldn’t do it without you!  Last year, we were able to raise over $10,000 because of donations like yours; enabling us to expand life-saving and much needed programs and services.  To sustain these programs and continue to offer such community service, we need your help now, more than ever!   

Cornerstone to Recovery is a charitable organization that supports people experiencing, and impacted by addiction & mental health. We opened our doors in 2004 with the intent to provide accessible, holistic and self-sustaining recovery programs in an environment where individuals and families could gain the tools and support needed to change their lives. 

We operate under a five pillar structure consisting of Connections, Pathways, Social Enterprise, Residential, and Wellness. All of our programs utilize a community treatment model, meaning that everyone who walks through our doors has the opportunity to both receive, and give, help. 

Cornerstone is a grassroots organization that is founded and run by individuals in recovery who foster a sustainable, and fun, therapeutic environment. We offer a wide variety of programs that include residential and day programs, counselling, 12 step meetings, and more. Our thriving Recovery Community Centre also has a fully equipped Wellness space with a variety of holistic programs for only $10/mo. 

Cornerstone has grown immensely since our founding. We’ve changed our name, moved to a new location, opened new facilities and introduced more accessible programming. What has remained the same is our organization’s steadfast belief that everyone who is impacted by substance abuse and mental health can have a happier and healthier life, surrounded by those who have walked a similar path and care for them. At Cornerstone, we believe that recovery happens when we #RiseTogether. 

Thanks to the loyal supporters, community members and corporate sponsors who all donated items and/or services for Silent Auction we were able to surpassed our $10,000 goal.

In response to a donation to our 8th annual Yoga-Thon, and in appreciation of your generosity, we will continue to recognize your partnership and promote your business on social media and our mailing list. For all donations $5000 and above, we will also place your logo on our ‘Friends of Cornerstone’ wall, located at Cornerstone and viewed by hundreds of people each and every day!  

2 season passes, alternatively, 2 day passes to Canada's Wonderland would be an amazing addition to our Silent Auction prizes, and it's sure to go along way with several bids being placed, would be immensely appreciated.
