Description

I am excited to invite you to join us as a valued contributor at CASA of Los Angeles’s 8th Annual Evening to Foster Dreams gala with a product or experience donation to be offered in our silent auction. This extraordinary event will take place on April 22nd, 2020 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Last year we had over 600 influential guests in attendance, all dedicated to supporting children in LA County’s child welfare system who have experienced abuse or neglect.

We would love to have you represented to our donors through any item, experience, or certificate you are able to donate. It will make an extraordinary difference.

CASA/LA is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supports Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers who are paired to work one-on-one with a child to advocate for their best interest. The items at last year’s auction allowed us to achieve:

- 1,235 unique children served
- 1,012 CASA volunteers appointed to a case
- 21,658 hours direct of child contact
- 80% improved safety outcomes

We are focused on exceeding last year’s impact by raising $1.3 million, which would provide us with enough resources to serve 290 children through vital one-on-one advocacy in one night of powerful philanthropy alone.

We are aware that you receive many requests for donations and sincerely hope you will consider partnering with CASA/LA. Help us reach even more children this year as we expand our resources to recruit, train, and support to even more CASA volunteers. Please do not hesitate to contact me at klozo@casala.org or 323.859.2888 ext. 6353 if you have any questions or need additional information.

Thank you for your kind consideration!
