The Student Nutrition Organization (SNO) at San Diego State University is excited to announce its 8th Annual Josephson-Spindler Fundraising Gala Dinner & Silent Auction, on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the La Jolla Embassy Suites! Each year this memorable event has garnered national recognition from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Our goal is to expand awareness of childhood obesity and its growing impact on our community by raising funds to support the Kids Eat Right campaign and Heaven’s Windows.

We are looking for donated services or experiences from businesses to our silent auction. Donations are needed to make this night just as successful as previous fundraisers. Any donation would be greatly appreciated by the Student Nutrition Organization, the Kids Eat Right campaign, Heaven’s Windows, and the kids and families affected by the organizations.

The Kids Eat Right campaign was established to educate families, communities, and policymakers about the importance of quality nutrition to promote optimal health for kids and their families. This worthy cause educates and advocates for children and parents to make healthy lifestyle choices to prevent chronic disease. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will also go towards Heaven’s Windows. This local San Diego non-profit provides exceptional nutrition to kids in need in Spring Valley, east of San Diego. Heaven’s Windows works to elevate the current living conditions of poverty-stricken residents of San Diego County and assist in establishing a stable and productive status of living. They provide support for building strong families as an investment in the future of California and our nation through programs like their child meal programs. Our organization aligns with these same values and is passionate about this cause. We need your help to ensure the success of this annual fundraising event.
