Plans are underway for River Valley Counseling Center’s (RVCC) 8th annual Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at East Mountain Country Club in Westfield, MA. We’d like to request a gift-in-kind donation to help make our raffle at the tournament a success. 

As RVCC’s only major fundraising event, we’re once more directing the funds to the children, teens, and their families who are in need of our mental health programs and services.

Our clients aged eighteen and under, which account for almost 40% of our clientele, truly benefit from our services. Improved mental health and emotional well-being allows children to be more focused and involved in school, therefore better preparing them for a brighter socio-economic future. Developing the skills needed to be successful in their education, as well as skills to be socially and economically successful are goals for all clients to achieve. We partner with several local school districts to provide mental health counseling during the school day. By being directly in the schools, we’re able to provide students and families access to therapy while eliminating issues that can arise, such as transportation, long waiting lists, and insurance coverage.

By offering services to the children, teens, and their families, our programs encourage healthy behaviors leading to lasting skills that enhance individual well-being, as well as an enhanced community.
