The Sword Tag Society is a local, non-profit 501(c)(7) organization, is looking for businesses and individuals that are willing to donate items to be given away in a basket raffle that will be held in conjunction with a spaghetti dinner and bake sale.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 4th at the Lehighton Recreation Center from 4 to 8 pm.  The group will humbly accept any item or assistance that you are willing to provide.  Our official cutoff date for accepting donations is Saturday, March 28th.  Feel free to contact us with questions or to have a donation picked up.

Please allow me to explain the Sword Tag Society.  The Sword Tag Society is an outdoor adventure group that it holds to strong positive ideals in morality and the betterment of the youth of America.  The group is more focused on outdoor and other physical activities while providing youth with a constructive outlet and bonding together to better a community.  Some of the things that the group engages in on behalf of the community would include constructing handicap ramps at churches, community park maintenance and restoration, painting and maintaining fire hydrants, collecting litter, and many other similar projects.

The Sword Tag Society has a focus of medieval combat with a touch of live action role playing, outings, events, and adventures.  Members are taught some outdoor skills, placed into leadership roles, participate in team building games and are also trained in medieval combat as well as crafting medieval armor and goods.

            All proceeds from this event will go towards helping the group in the costs of making costumes, uniforms, camping equipment and transportation for the events. We will also be recognizing our supporters by offering them free advertising at the event by displaying a banner, poster, flyer or the like promoting your business.  Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
