The Illinois FFA State Convention is the largest youth leadership development experience in Illinois FFA and is designed to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. The Illinois FFA State Convention is held each June, and approximately 5,000 FFA members, advisors, and guests are in attendance, as well as 2,500 live streaming. The three-day convention recognizes FFA members and chapters for their accomplishments throughout the year. Members participate in general sessions, competitive events, educational tours, leadership workshops, a career show and expo, volunteer activities, and much more. This year, the 96th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention will be held in person June 111-13 at the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield, Illinois. During the 96th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention, the Foundation Committee plans to hold a raffle to raise money for the Illinois Foundation FFA.
