The 2020 Barefoot Ball, benefitting the Bolsa Chica Conservancy in Huntington Beach, California, will be held on Saturday August 29, 2020, from 5:00PM to 8:30PM at Harriett Wieder Regional Park, the home of the future Center For Coastal Ecology. The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is a non-profit organization that depends on contributions from partners like you who support programs that engage and educate youth and the public about coastal ecology, wetland science, and environmental conservation.  We hope that you will contribute to our fundraiser.  Your donation will benefit more students from pre-K to college and the general public.  It will also help restore the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, a vital resource that provides ecosystem services to humans, plants and wildlife.

With your support, the Bolsa Chica Conservancy served more than 50,000 students, volunteers and visitors from southern California in 2019.  Your investment made a difference in our youth’s understanding about the wetlands, and has paved the way to conserving Bolsa Chica for generations to come.  We would like to request your support to help benefit thousands more students and the general public, and restore acres more of wetland habitat.  Please consider donating to the silent auction at our annual fundraising gala.   Funds raised from the gala will help underwrite science-based education programs for youth and the general public, as well as raise money to restore critical habitats at the wetlands.  For your convenience, we have enclosed our donation request form.
