9th Annual Blue Jeans and Boots Gala Fundraiser
Gala/Party for Central Texas Charitable WorksSep 01, 2022 5:00 PM to Sep 18, 2022 5:00 PM
On Friday, September 16, 2022, Central Texas Charitable Works (CTCW) in cooperation with Knights of Columbus Council 8156 will be hosting our 9th Annual Blue Jeans and Boots Gala Fundraiser. CTCW is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Knights of Columbus Council 8156 in Austin, TX. Together, this partnership provides financial and volunteer support for many worthy causes. Because of the impact of COVID-19 in our community and the rising prices of groceries and gas, now more than ever our mission to help those in need is of utmost importance. We plan to hold our fundraiser at Creekside venue in Driftwood, TX.
Our fundraiser will again include an Online Silent Auction and we are requesting gift cards, gift certificates, and merchandise to assist those in need in our community. The Silent Auction will open on September 1, 2022 and close September 18, 2022 (the auction is free of charge to browse and place bids). Businesses donating to our auction will be recognized on the Online Auction site with your logo and a link back to your website. Monetary sponsorships are also requested to offset event costs thereby increasing proceeds for those in need. Donors providing a monetary event sponsorship of $250 or more will be recognized at the live Gala Event as well as on the CTCW website with your logo and a link back to your website.
Central Texas Charitable Works is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law (CTCW ID #81-2303580). CTCW strives to promote the dignity of the human person by supporting organizations that provide food, shelter, and services to those in need in our community and surrounding area. With less than 2% in overhead expenses, CTCW assures you that your donation will truly help those in need!
Proceeds from the Gala Fundraiser allow CTCW to continue to support our charitable causes such as:
• Abiding Love Food Pantry - serves an average of 430 families with approximately 1700 children and adults everymonth. Serves the homeless and those on a very limited income.
• Austin Habitat for Humanity – helps individuals achieve strength, stability, and independence through safe, decent, and affordable shelter.
• Saint Louise House - provides housing, food, and essential services to women with children who are experiencing homelessness.
• Warrior & Family Support Center - supports wounded, ill, and injured Warriors overcoming difficulties. Programs and services are offered for healing and rehabilitation.
