Description
InspirationField, a non-profit entity, is looking forward to the 2015 9th Annual La Junta Tribune-Democrat Cinco de Mayo Celebration. This event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015. We recognize that many companies plan sponsorships / donations at budget planning time. This celebration is truly a community event with 2014’s event drawing over 1,500 community members.
This event is the agency’s most community- involved event that we organize each year. We utilize over 100 volunteers for this successful event. All net proceeds from this event assist us with various programs in our new building. We have now officially moved into our gorgeous new building, and now have a tremendous opportunity to improve the services to individuals in service. Our Cinco de Mayo event includes the following areas of fun: Color Me 5K-Razy Fun Run/Walk, Live Entertainment on a stage throughout the day. Authentic Mexican Food sale, Beer Garden, Motorcycle Poker Run, Cinco de Mayo Softball Tournament, a live and silent auction, Sandbox Coin Find for children, Scavenger Hunt, Pie Eating Contest, Vendors, Giveaways, and a Dance that night that also has a live and silent auction. The day event is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the dance runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
