We are seeking help with an in-kind (product) donation to support an upcoming fundraiser for an organization important to our military, Puppy Rescue Mission. This year our 9th annual flagship event will be in Round Hill, Virginia on Saturday, June 16, 2018. For this amazing event, we expect hundreds of supporters of both rescues from all over the country to attend as well as numerous dogs rescued from all over the world. 

Puppy Rescue Mission (PRM) helps our soldiers bring home their “battle buddies”—the dogs (and cats) that they bond with while serving our country and can’t bear to leave behind. Since 2010, PRM has rescued over 2,000 animals for these brave men and women, and more requests come in each day. We never turn a service member away.

While stationed in these treacherous, hostile countries, our soldiers long for the comforts of home to get them through each day, including forging bonds with local stray dogs. The soldiers save these dogs from a short life filled with dog fighting and other abuse by the locals, and in return, these dogs fill an emotional need for a sense of home and normalcy. And, just as our soldiers are trained not to leave a buddy behind in the battlefield, they want to save their battle buddies and live together, free of worry and fear.

This year we are doing something extra special—partnering with The Tanzie Project, a 501©3 born from one of our rescues out of Bosnia for a member of the US Air Force. Today, The Tanzie Project brings awareness and support to saving the forgotten, homeless pets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in other areas of the Balkan Peninsula….and Tanzie herself earned the prestigious title of 2017 Dogs on Deployment Military Pet of the Year and Mascot!

We would be so grateful for your donation of an item for our silent auction to help make the event a success. 100% of proceeds from our raffle and auction will be directed to helping Puppy Rescue Mission and The Tanzie Project continue to fulfill their missions.
