This event is a fun, family friendly evening of games, raffles, silent auction and a hotly contested hockey game between the Chicago PD and the FBI. At Honor Flight Chicago, our mission is to thank our senior war veterans – WWII, Korean and Vietnam War veterans- with a trip to Washington DC to visit the memorials built in their honor. To date we have honored nearly 9,000 veterans and will celebrate our 100th flight this year. As our primary fundraiser each year, our goal to is raise the funds to pay for one flight of WWII, Korean and Vietnam War veterans to Washington DC for a day of honor and remembrance.
