Ninth Annual Sonny Donaldson Golf Tournament to benefit Aldine Education Foundation

The ninth annual M.B. “Sonny’ Donaldson Golf Tournament, benefiting the Aldine Education Foundation (AEF) will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Tour 18, 3102 FM 1960 East, Humble TX 77338.

The Aldine Education Foundation is 10 years old, and grateful that since 2014, the tournament has funded more than $475,000 for programs improving educational opportunities for Aldine ISD students and teachers.

“I am so proud of everything our past and current board members and volunteers have accomplished for the students of Aldine ISD. We are ready to continue our journey to help in a greater way during this special anniversary,” said Aldine Education Foundation Director Linda Flores Olson.

The event is organized by the Aldine Education Foundation Board and community members. Aldine ISD Superintendent Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney said, “These fine folks are big advocates for community involvement in improving education for our students. These volunteers and donors definitely make a difference in our District.”

The funds raised at the golf tournament will continue providing much-needed dollars for student scholarships.

Former Aldine ISD Superintendent, and the event’s namesake, Sonny Donaldson will be on hand to welcome guests and sponsors.
