           Dear Community Member,

My Child’s Life Matters is a 501(c)3 charity confronting the current opiate, fentanyl crisis in our local communities and across the country. We are currently losing 300 plus people a day to opiate poisonings, especially fentanyl. This is the same as an airplane crash happening every day of the week and surely by now it has affected someone in your workplace or family. This epidemic is taking the lives of anyone it can, and we believe that all lives matter. This is unacceptable! Many families are suffering in silence because of the stigma, we are here to help them break out of this and walk beside them during this difficult journey they are on.

After the traumatic loss of my son, John Allen, in 2016, in Glendale Hts., we have jumped in to help our community, by providing support in many ways to traumatized families.

We are approaching our 9th annual “Ride For John-Remember US ALL", a charity motorcycle ride in remembrance of all the lives we have lost due to this epidemic. Each motorcyclist rides for a specific family and places their picture on a memorial board at the conclusion of the ride. This moment is always a life changing experience for everyone present.

The event will begin with a motorcycle ride leaving Alley 64 212 W Main St. St. Charles IL and ending at the Carol Stream Town Center 960 N Gary Ave. Carol Stream IL, on Saturday August 2, 2025 where we will host our annual opiate awareness/memorial event along with live bands from 2PM-6PM. We are already anticipating this year’s event to have National presence and will be memorializing 1100’s of victims. . We will also have DuPage County Sheriff, States Attorney Bob Berlin, Chicago DEA Greg and many others speaking to the community about this epidemic.

We are currently looking to the community to help with our mission through quality items that can be used for raffle prizes to be held on the day of the Ride.

Thank you so much for your time
