Description

This event is open to the public, it is a motorcycle-based ride to continue the support and to bring awareness for the Salt River Wild Horses and to raise funds to help keep them protected, wild & free.
Participants will take an unescorted motorcycle ride on a scenic route where the wild horses call home through the Lower Salt River on Bush Highway in the Tonto National Forest.
There is a $10.00 suggested donation at the start location from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the American Legion Post 58 on 16837 E Parkview Ave. in Fountain Hills.
Then riders will leave at their own pace and ride along the Lower Salt River in the Tonto National Forest with a stop at Goldfield Recreational site.
The ride ends at Superstition Harley-Davidson® on 2910 W. Apache Trail Apache Junction from 11:00am to 3:30pm live music,
beer garden, food trucks, vendors, educational booths, giveaways, raffle and much more.

The Salt River Wild Horse Management Group manages the historic and majestic Salt River wild horse herd along the Lower Salt River in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona.
The SRWHMG manages many different aspects including-data collection, a fertility program, a rescue program, an emergency response program, a habitat improvement program and a road patrol program.
The Salt River Wild Horse Management Group (#SRWHMG) is an accredited non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the protection and humane management of the Salt River wild horses under contract and partnership with the Arizona Department of Agriculture (AZDA).
SRWHMG does not charge the government for this management and does not receive any government grants. They run 100% on donations from the public who loves these horses, and they proudly manage wild horses humanely for the public and by the public.
