The Sword Tag Society, a local, non-profit 501(c)(7) organization, is looking for businesses and individuals that are willing to donate items to be given away in a basket raffle that will be held in conjunction with a take-out spaghetti dinner and bake sale.  The event will take place on Monday, April 12th and Tuesday, April 13th at the Hofford Mill in Weissport, PA from 5pm to 8pm.  The group will humbly accept any item or assistance that you are willing to provide.  Our official cutoff date for accepting donations is Saturday, April 3rd.  Feel free to contact us with questions or to have a donation picked up.

The Sword Tag Society is an outdoor adventure group that holds to strong positive ideals in morality and the betterment of the youth of America.  The group is focused on medieval combat with a touch of live action role playing, in addition to outings, events, and adventures while providing youth with a constructive outlet and the opportunity to work together to better our communities.  Some of the things that the group engages in on behalf of the community include constructing handicap ramps at churches, community park maintenance and restoration, painting and maintaining fire hydrants, collecting litter, and many other similar projects.

We understand that the pandemic has negatively affected many of the businesses in our communities and know that for some donating will not be possible. The Sword Tag Society has similarly suffered from the fallout of the virus. Last year, we were unable to hold our spaghetti dinner fundraiser, the largest fundraising event that we hold. Going another year without having the event would make supporting our organization much more difficult, so we are adapting the event to work in as safe a manner as possible within the current guidelines.  This includes shifting to a take-out format, limiting patrons at the basket raffle, wearing masks, etc...

            All proceeds from this event will go towards helping the group in the costs of making costumes, uniforms, camping equipment and transportation for the events as well as helping other groups and individuals throughout the surrounding communities. We will also be recognizing our supporters by offering them free advertising at the event by displaying a banner, poster, flyer or the like promoting your business.  Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
