I am contacting you on behalf of Wall Helps Its People (WHIP). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization, from Wall Township, NJ, that comes to the help of the township’s residents, families and veterans when having financial hardships. We help with things like medical bills, house fires, gas/electric bills and food. WHIP has been serving the residents of Wall Township for more than 30 years. WHIP is seeking your help through a donation for our rescheduled 9th Annual Gift Auction/Steak Bake. The event will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the Hamilton Banquet Hall in Neptune, NJ. This is the first major fundraiser we have done since 2019. Our event for 2020 was canceled becasue of COVID lockdowns. WHIP is funded through generous donations by businesses and residents. For us to continue helping residents in their time of need we do fundraisers such as this. Our annual event is always sold out with more than 350 people attending. We have supporters from all the towns in our area that attend or donate. In addition, our social media reaches thousands of other area residents who support us but do not attend. Last year during COVID, we were able to help families with medical bills, house fires and food. All this is possible because of people like you. As a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, all donations to us are deductible under (IRC) Section 170. Our EIN is 22-3098687. We ask that if you can donate you let us know by September 2, 2022 so we can finish all our baskets and give you proper credit in our program, social media and website. As soon as we receive a donation it will be listed on all our social media till our next event.
