Lafayette Preparatory Academy’s 9th Annual TRIVIA NIGHT and SILENT AUCTION will be held on March 29, 2024. Lafayette Preparatory Academy (LPA) is a grassroots, community-founded, public charter school in the heart of St. Louis. We opened in 2013 with 75 students in grades K-2 and have grown to more than 400 students in grades K-8.

Our mission is to educate and activate children to achieve academic and social success now and in the future. We have been highlighted in the St. Louis Post Dispatch for the best academic achievement in the state for Reading, Math, and Science amongst all charter schools and the top 8% of all districts. We’ve been honored with two Charter School Leader of the Year awards. We launched St. Louis City’s first Charter School Athletic League. Our four graduating classes have attended some of the best high schools in the region, with 81% attending local, selective schools.

Our 9th Annual Trivia Night will raise funds for activities unavailable to us if we were to operate on state funding alone. Our goal of $30,000 will enrich our program with field trips, clubs, athletics, and special events that inspire our students to engage with the world around them. Our fundraising efforts will ensure our students benefit from incredible learning experiences and that their time at LPA is filled with joy and connection.
