On Saturday, August 2, 2025, The Rescue House, a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare organization, will launch A Cause for Paws 2025 – At Home Edition. This year, we are inviting all our supporters to stay at home and support the kitties by participating in our virtual fundraising campaign.

The Rescue House, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to assisting cats through its rescue, foster and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and injured cats. We open our arms to socialized, people-friendly cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in – we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization. Since our inception in 1999, we have rescued over 19,500 cats. We find loving, permanent homes for them through our six adoption centers in San Diego County, located in pet stores and businesses that work with us and share our philosophy.

Your participation as a donor to our online auction will not only help advance our mission but will give you visibility among our approximately 15,000 supporters. Our local supporters include men and women from across San Diego County, with interests spanning the arts, entertainment, dining, sports, health, lifestyle and more (as well as the welfare of cats, of course).
