Friday evening, May 5, Family and Community Resources, Inc. (FCR)  will hold its third Annual Kentucky Derby-themed Spring Gala at The Thorny Lea Golf Club in Brockton to raise awareness and support for survivors of violence and trauma. We are calling this night “A Celebration of Gratitude.” As we reflect on the past three years, all we can feel is gratitude. Gratitude for our own health, and that of our co-workers, friends, and clients. Gratitude that our clients trust us to help them in their time of crisis and vulnerability. Gratitude that, despite historic levels of inflation, COVID hanging on, and significant labor shortages, Family and Community Resources, Inc. was able to support over 2,000 people last year with much needed counseling, advocacy, and financial assistance. Most of all, gratitude for the support of our donors and sponsors. It is only because of you that we are able to help so many. Please consider donating an item this year for our silent/live auction and make a positive change in the life of a child or adult victim of domestic or community violence.
