The Arts and Education Council's Young Friends of the Arts hosts its signature fundraising event, A Midsummer Night's Drink, on Friday, August 12 at the Centene Center for the Arts in the heart of Grand Center. 

A Midsummer Night's Drink invites thousands of young professionals, friends and family to a rooftop party to celebrate our region's vibrant creative community and provides guests with a full-blown arts experience including live music, visual art and tasty treats. 

Our goal is to raise funds to keep art happening in our bi-state area, because we believe that a region rich with arts and cultural experiences is fundamental to creating and sustaining vibrant communities. The Arts and Education Council ensures the 16-county, bi-state region is rich with arts and cultural experiences for all through programs and services that support more than 70 organizations and reach 1.6 million children and adults each year, all thanks to the generosity of individual donors, corporations and foundations in the St. Louis area.
