The Gilbert Historical Society is hosting our 8th annual signature fundraising event, “A Night at the Museum - Gilbert Turns 100!" which will take place on Saturday, Feb. 29^th, 2020 at HD SOUTH.  We will be celebrating the centennial birthday for Gilbert.  This event promises to be a fantastic evening. The event will feature a lively cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by dinner, live entertainment, and dancing. 

We hope you choose to partner with us this year! Gift certificates, gift baskets, or any other item from your business would be most appreciated. Gift card donations are also welcome. We request two or three gift cards as they would be featured in our gift card gambit, which is a fun, energetic audience participation activity included during the live auction.

This event is an excellent way to advertise your business to citizens of our community. Your in-kind donation enables us to continue our growing vision and mission, to be the cornerstone of arts and culture in the Gilbert Heritage District.

As Gilbert grows at its ever-rapid pace, the Gilbert Historical Society has reinvented itself and now does business as HD SOUTH, Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum, due to our location at the south end of the Heritage District. We have adopted a new model called Communities for All Ages which provides an intergenerational approach to programming in areas of history, art, science, music, health and wellness, and literature. We have many exciting changes coming this year, and we encourage you to come visit to see our new exhibits and how we are supporting history, art, and culture in Gilbert.
