Dear Friend,

Friday, September 29, 2023, will be a Night for All Seasons at the Abington Art Center during the
33rd annual Friends of Briar Bush (FOBB) Feather Our Nest Gala (FON)! Friends, old and new, will
experience the whimsy and wonder of the seasons with culinary delights, signature drinks, a wide
variety of auction items offered during our online and in-person auctions, and more!

The past year has been an exciting time at Briar Bush. Funding from supporters like you has
enabled us to offer an increased number of affordable programs for groups and families alike. This
year’s highlights are:

• The FOBB’s Scholarship Fund’s success allowed us to provide over 80 classroom programs and 11 weeks of summer camp for families and children in need!
• Family Nature Night, a program for children with sensory processing disorders, now features
  Forest Therapy Sessions and a certified Occupational Therapist on-site to support staff and
  families.
• We continue to host two annual festivals and began monthly Weekend Walks. Both are FREE
  for the community in an effort to encourage families to spend more time out in nature.

Consider supporting FON 2023 and FOBB’s efforts with a donation to our auction which begins
two weeks before the main event on September 15, 2023. Past donations have included
artwork, food, entertainment gift certificates, and other cultural experiences.

All funds raised during the FON event directly support the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,
Friends of Briar Bush (Federal Tax I.D. 23-7275154), and our mission to inspire people of all ages
and backgrounds to explore and protect nature by encouraging curiosity and scientific inquiry.
