Description

I am writing on behalf of the Brook Arts Center to ask for your support by contributing to our fundraiser event on May 22, 2021, which will include a stage performance and auction. Your gift donation is tax-deductible and will provide a wonderful opportunity for you to gain exposure to 300+ potential customers while supporting the Brook Arts Center and the arts. One of the most valued historical sites in Bound Brook, NJ, is the Brook Theater, which opened its doors in 1927 as a 1300 seat vaudeville house. The Brook’s rich history includes performances by WC Fields, Jack Benny, Jackie Gleason, and Tony Bennett, and many others. After many years of various management groups and the devastating flood of Hurricane Floyd, the theater found itself in dire need of renovations to continue to operate. Thankfully, in 2003, a volunteer group formed a nonprofit organization with a mission to restore the theater to its majestic beauty and establish a performing arts center. Since then, these dedicated volunteers continue to work tirelessly to restore the treasured theater to its grand beginnings and uphold our mission to cultivate the arts in New Jersey, to provide affordable multiculturalism entertainment and visual arts, to provide an arts incubator- an affordable space for arts organizations and artists to create their craft . To offer educational programs and multicultural and community events to a diverse community. Unfortunately, like so many businesses, we were hard hit by the pandemic and fear we may be unable to raise our curtain again. Being optimistic, we have planned an amazing 2021 season in hopes that ticket sales will allow us to continue offering affordable entertainment and arts education for years to come. To aid in this goal, we are hosting a fundraiser, “A Night of Broadway,” which will include a Benefit Auction. Please consider supporting our event by donating a gift card, merchandise, or in-kind donation. In exchange, you will receive outstanding community exposure and advertising. With your generous contribution, we can once again raise our curtain and bring artists and audiences back to the historic Brook Theater. We beat the odds when we were under 17 feet of murky water, and we can do it again with your help! Thank you in advance for your support. Please mail donations to the address above.
