She Has A Name (SHAN) is a community of advocates that exists to fight human trafficking through education, advocacy, and survivor care; with the hope that local survivors will be restored into society, welcomed in the workplace, and thriving in their community. Our current programs include demand reduction and human trafficking awareness education, community partner collaboration for direct survivor care, empowering survivors though the funding of college scholarships, and a new education initiative to reduce online sexual exploitation of minors. Our annual gala, A Night of Hope, is SHAN’s main fundraiser to sustain and further our efforts to help those impacted by human sex trafficking in our community. This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, November 5th, 2020, and will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts, cocktails, and access to the evening's festivities: a celebration of restoration work in central Ohio, silent auction, wine pull, live music and more!
