On Saturday September 30, the Hoogland Center for the Arts will host our annual 2023 Gala fundraiser, A Night on
Broadway. We are thrilled to welcome Broadway star Alton Fitzgerald White to our stage.

Can you help the Hoogland Center for the Arts by donating an item to our silent auction?
Your business and donation will be listed on our Silent Auction website, which will be sent to more than 8,000
Springfield patrons. Additionally, your business name and donation will be on display during our Gala, an event
that attracts many community leaders.
Our Gala is our major annual fundraiser, and your support is more important than ever as we continue to recover from the
pandemic. We are faced with increased financial demands as we return to full operation. These demands include increased
energy costs, staffing needs, and operating expenses. Proceeds from our Gala help pay for the day-to-day operations of the
Hoogland Center for the Arts, which is home to 20 different resident groups and host to over 100 other community
organizations which use our space throughout the year.
The Hoogland Center is a home for our communities in which creative arts and education are nurtured. We are a cultural
hub where performances, programs, and events provide enjoyment and enrichment for diverse audiences. The Hoogland
Center is vital to the local arts community and to Springfield’s economic future. Your contribution will help us build upon
this success.

extent allowed by the law.
