Description

NOVA is excited to announce that A Starlit Evening, our Annual Auction and Gala, will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Spring Mill Manor! The gala is expected to attract more than 350 area supporters and will honor NOVA’s 50th anniversary and staff, volunteers, partners and donors that have supported NOVA throughout the past 50 years. As NOVA’s main fundraising event of the year, your support enables us to offer the continuum of programs that make NOVA a leader across the region in victim services and prevention initiatives.

Each year, NOVA provides free and confidential services to more than 2,500 crime victims and their family members, and prevention education programs to more than 26,000 students, parents and teachers. NOVA serves all victims of crime in Bucks County by supporting, counseling and empowering victims of sexual assault and other serious crimes and working to prevent and eliminate violence in society through advocacy, training, community education and prevention programs.

·         When a victim of sexual violence arrives at any of our local hospitals, NOVA forensic nurses are called in to provide specialized health services and compassion.

·         When a senior citizen is a victim of fraud, NOVA Victim Advocates are there, walking hand-in-hand, allaying fears, explaining, guiding, and providing support throughout the criminal justice process.

·         When a child sexual abuse case is investigated, NOVA’s Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, child-friendly space for children to attest to their abuse and receive counseling & intervention services.

·         NOVA educators provide hundreds of school-based and community prevention education programs providing children and adults with the information and tools to keep themselves and others safe.

·         When any victim of crime reaches out for help, NOVA provides free state-of-the-art counseling services and victim advocacy to help them regain their dignity, health, and quality of life.

We hope that you will support NOVA's essential work in our community, while promoting your business. Your support will be acknowledged at the event, on our event Website and among our 8,000 social media followers and 8,5000 email subscribers.
