Dear Friends,

We are so excited to announce that The Hunger Task Force will once again host our annual “A Taste of the Garden” fundraiser on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Kane Street Community Garden.   

Attendance in 2021 reached nearly 200 people and generated $18,500 to help eliminate hunger.   It was an evening of garden inspired appetizers prepared by area chefs, beverages donated by local breweries, vineyards, soft drink companies and a silent auction.

This event not only provides funding for the garden supplies, but actually helps us produce nearly 30,000 pounds of food annually for those experiencing food insecurity.  Produce grown is distributed FREE to our community and beyond, providing nearly 3000 individuals with healthy food!
