A Tasteful Affair has been Food Outreach’s signature event for the entire 34 years we have served the community. A Tasteful Affair 34 will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2 – 5:00 p.m. The event will feature more than 500 guests and 15+ culinary and beverage partners from across the St. Louis region. In 2021, A Tasteful Affair raised $212,000 for our mission or 100,000 meals! 

Food Outreach remains the only organization and non-profit in Missouri and western Illinois providing nutritional interventions to almost 1,500 clients impacted by economic instability, hunger and a diagnosis with HIV or cancer. Over 85% of our clients live on less than $13,000 per year.

 Through the work of 500 dedicated volunteers and 14 staff, our interventions include providing over a half million Medically Tailored Meals per year, private nutritional counseling with our registered dietitian, scratch-prepared meals and groceries, home delivery, and nutrition education for clients living in over 160 Missouri and Illinois zip codes. All our services are provided for free.

Our crucial services empower Food Outreach clients to use their limited resources for other critical needs such as housing, transportation, and utilities. We are proud to continue the legacy of providing dignity, hope, compassion, and nourishment to some of our region’s most vulnerable and hungry men, women, and children.
