A Tasteful Affair has been Food Outreach’s signature event for the entire 34 years we have served the community. A Tasteful Affair 35 will take place on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2 – 5:00 p.m. The event will feature more than 500 guests and 20+ culinary and beverage partners from across the St. Louis region. In 2022, A Tasteful Affair raised $212,000 for our mission!

Food Outreach remains the only organization and non-profit in Missouri and western Illinois providing nutritional interventions to almost 2,000 clients impacted by economic instability, hunger and a diagnosis with HIV or cancer. Over 82% of our clients live on less than $13,000 per year.

Through the work of 1,287 dedicated volunteers and 16 staff, our interventions include providing over a half million Medically Tailored Meals per year, private nutritional counseling with our registered dietitian, scratch-prepared meals and groceries, home delivery, and nutrition education for clients living in over 150 Missouri and Illinois zip codes. All our services are provided for free.

Our crucial services empower Food Outreach clients to use their limited resources for other critical needs such as housing, transportation, and utilities. We are proud to continue the legacy of providing dignity, hope, compassion, and nourishment to some of our region’s most vulnerable and hungry men, women, and children.
