Our largest family event and fundraiser is our annual Spring Carnival.  Now in its 46th year, it will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from NOON – 4:00 P.M.   We are contacting businesses to request sponsorship to help make this event a success. Sponsors can select from a variety of levels, including cash and/or product or service donations (see attached Donor/Sponsor form). Please send your donation to AAUW Preschool or call us at 847-623-0550 if the donation needs to be picked up.   Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and are 100% tax deductible (our Federal Identification Number is 36-2258522). Additionally, you receive the satisfaction of knowing you’ve helped a school that’s been serving families with young children for 70 years.

The AAUW Preschool Spring Carnival includes children’s games, family goodie bags, raffle prizes and a silent auction. Many small items are needed for prizes for children’s games. Family goodie bags often include discount coupons and sample items and are a feature our families look forward to. Items raffled and auctioned off typically include gift certificates and marketable products or services.     

Our gratitude for your donation is shown in several ways:

-          All of AAUW Preschool’s 300+ Families and Carnival Attendees will receive a Carnival Sponsorship brochure.

-          Each sponsor’s name is prominently displayed on Carnival Day.

-          Each donor will receive a tax exempt thank you letter. 

Our carnival is open to the public so please join us for this fun filled family event!

DONATION

Raffle Gift - Donation examples: restaurant gift cards, store gift cards, gas cards, airline tickets, sports memorabilia, children’s bike, trike, scooter, children’s toys, children’s sports equipment, IPOD, Kindle, vacation packages, collectible items, fitness certificates, spa certificates, craft set, etc.

Goodie Bag Item - Donation examples: crayons, temporary tattoos, bubbles, trinkets or other child/family friendly items. Company Promotional examples: company logo on pen, pencil, rulers, chip clip, magnet, pen light, coupons, etc.

Game Prizes - We use approximately 3000 prizes for Carnival kids games.  We are in need of game prizes such as: small toys, temporary tattoos, bouncy balls, plastic rings, tiny duckies, stickers, bubbles, and other typical carnival prizes.
