About Our Event

The 17th annual online Silent Auction will be held in March in conjunction with our in school basket raffle. Families view listings online and can bid during the week leading up to the raffle where we publicize participating partners and auction items. The night of our event we have a full house and celebrate your contributions to our school.  In addition we publicize the auction and partners over our social media and email communications which reach over 1,500 individuals.

About Our School

Combs Elementary is a public magnet elementary in Raleigh, with 600+ students from all over Wake County, including: Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Fuquay-Varina, and Garner. The magnet theme, Leadership, is carried throughout lessons and teaching practices. Students are proud to use “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” and apply the habits throughout their day to day lives -- in school and in their community.

Your Donation

Funds raised will be used for school improvements such as outfitting classrooms with improved and updated technology, cultural arts opportunities, library books, and leadership development programs.

Our PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the tax ID# is 56-1684461. We acknowledge your support in our paper, social media and online listings and with your permission can display your logo in an event slideshow.  As the first ever Lighthouse Leadership School in the world, our website is visited regularly by educators all over the country and world.
